Tora in raw black is a simpler, uncompromising interpretation of Julie’s original design. Here, the clay is left almost bare, featuring a dark, coarse surface where traces of the hands and the crafting process become part of the aesthetic. The raw black clay contrasts with the glazed interior and the subtle traces of glaze on the exterior. Each cup possesses its own unique interplay of surface, texture, and firing, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. A darker, more tactile version of Tora, produced in a limited quantity.
