    Cyanotype 2026.

    T/p 2/2.

    Framed 23/32.

This photography print is handmade with cyanotype developing technique.

Cyanotype (also called blueprint) is a photography technique from 1840's, where the light sensitive solution is made from iron salts (Ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide).

When the two iron salts are exposed to sunlight (UV light), they react and form an insoluble blue dye.

The cyanatype print is like any other photography print, and it can bleach if placed on direct sunlight.
