Ceramics course for beginners - introduction to ceramics, fall 2026

6 weeks, 18 hours in total.
In this introductory course to ceramics, you will learn the basic techniques of ceramics. We will go into depth with hand-building techniques (coiling technique, pinching technique and slab building technique) and you will also be introduced to wheel throwing. You will gain basic knowledge about the ceramic working process, decoration techniques, and glazing. You will be learning both in theory and in practice.

After the course, you are ready to work more independently with the material.
6 Wednesdays from 17.00 to 20.00 (21/10, 28/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11, and 25/11)

Teaching language: Danish, English, and Finnish.
