Join us for three days of pottery, creativity, and exploration, where children will learn different hand-building techniques and have plenty of time to experiment and develop their own ideas. \u003cstrong\u003eEach day consists of 4 hours of guided pottery, with a 30-minute lunch break\u003c\/strong\u003e. Throughout the workshop, I’ll introduce different techniques and guide the children through the creative process, while giving them plenty of freedom to make their own unique pieces.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDay 1 – Getting to Know Clay.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn the first day, we’ll explore three basic hand-building techniques: Slab building, pinch pots, and coil building. We’ll create simple pieces such as cups and bowls while learning how each technique works and exploring the many possibilities of shaping clay.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDay 2 – From Technique to Art.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn day two, we’ll get more creative and focus on developing our own ideas. Each child will design and create their own artwork using one or more of the techniques we’ve learned. It could be a relief, a vase, a sculpture, or something completely different. The focus is on creativity, experimentation, and finding your own way of working with clay.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDay 3 – Decoration \u0026amp; Details.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn the final day, we’ll decorate our creations and give them their own personal expression.
